LEOS Crime Update


Good Afternoon Resident,

 

Sorry it’s been a while since our last update, the team have been busy dealing with a wide range of local issues. Here’s just some of the work we’ve been doing.

 

We’ve made arrests for a racist incident in Olton

Two large cannabis factories have been located and dismantled in Hardwick Rd and Barn Lane.

We’ve arrested a male following a serious assault.

We’re working with local shops to investigate thefts that are impacting their businesses.

We have been responding to reports and concerns from residents about dangerous unlicensed dogs. If you have any concerns about a dangerous dog email the team leos@westmidlands.police.uk

Burglary and vehicle theft since the start of March

 

Lyndon 

03/03 - Kia Sportage was stolen without keys during the evening from Melton Ave

05/03 - Burglary was reported in Lyndon Rd. Offenders snapped a lock at the rear of the address. Car keys we stolen and offenders made off in a Seat Cupra

14/03 - Ford Transit was stolen without keys in the early hours. Transit vans are currently a particular target for thieves 

18/03 - Motorbike stolen from Wellsford Ave overnight

 

Elmdon

03/03 - Burglary in Kendal Grove overnight, keys and a Renault Traffic van were stolen

14/03 - A Hyundai 1200 was stolen without keys during the day in Valley Rd

17/03 - A Ford Ranger was stolen without keys in Cophams Close

 

Olton

01/03 Burglary in Langley Hall Rd, 2 sets of keys to vehicles and a BMW was stolen

Between 2-6th March there was a burglary in Wroxhall Rd, jewellery was stolen

04/03 – A Ford Transit was stolen with keys in Streetsbrook Rd

13/03 – The fire brigade were called to attend a motorbike on fire in Mickleton Rd. The bike had extensive damage and could not be identified. Two youths were seen in the area earlier that day dumping the bike in the stream. If you have any information email the team – leos@westmidlands.police.uk

 

Silhill

02/03 - A Kia Sportage was stolen without keys from Warwick Rd

05/03 – Daytime burglary in Silhill Hall Rd, jewellery was stolen

06/03 – A Ford Fiesta was stolen from the train station carpark in the early evening

06/03 – A young person was a victim of a robbery outside Solihull train station. Threats were made to the victim to hand over their phone. 

Suspects have been arrested for this incident.

12/03 – A Kia Sportage was stolen without keys overnight from Rowood Drive

13/03 – A Toyota Yaris stolen during the evening without keys from Milcote Rd 

 

As the clocks go forward and the weather gets better we usually see a rise in anti-social behaviour. If you have any information about ASB including Illegal Off-Road Bikes such as locations where they are being stored, you can email  us or contact Crimestoppers 100% anonymously
