Russell’s Hall/Milking Bank and Kates Hill Neighbourhood Policing Team

Dear Residents,

We are continuing to target criminals, illegal drivers, those involved in violence and anti-social behaviour in Dudley town centre and within our neighbourhoods.

What’s been happening

•      Neighbourhood Team Operations

A Pro Laser Speeding Operation has been carried out on Dibdale Road Dudley, Oakham Road Kates Hill, New Rowley Road Kates Hill and Gervase Drive Dudley - to deter any speeding motorists.  

A Knife Arch Operation has been implemented at Dudley College – to deter and identify anyone carrying knifes or offensive weapons and to tackle youth violence.

•      Arrests Dudley Town Centre

Officers have arrested a prolific shoplifter who was also wanted for robbery. 

•      High Visibility Patrols

Officers continue to carry out high visibility patrols within the hot spots on Dudley town centre and surrounding locations, which in turn has seen a positive impact on the overnight crimes which are reported to Police.  

•      Pro-active Patrols

Whilst on patrol officers were alerted to a disorder on Dudley Town and after a short foot chase the male was arrested for Public Order offences.

Officers have seized multiple vehicles in the Dudley area for no insurance or driving without a licence.  Several drivers have been arrested within the last month for drug and drink driving. 

•      Off Road Bikes

We are continuing our work to tackle problems regarding off road bikes around the Dudley borough.  Any information regarding off road bikes please let us know.
