The Rowley Town Neighbourhood team have had a busy of week, engaging with the local community to build and develop our intelligence. We have been conducting high visibility patrols around the high street & conducting arrest attempts. The team has also been working closely with Sandwell Council & housing associations in regards to on-going neighbourhood disputes & ongoing ASB

Have…..

  • Attended an emergency for a break in progress at a local business
  • Arrested a Female who was wanted for a Robbery offence.
  • Conducted High street patrols in Blackheath, due to an increase in begging.
  • Recovered a vehicle for no tax in Blackheath
  • Received and developed intelligence regarding Off road bikes.
  • Received intelligence on suspicious behaviour on the neighbourhood.
  • Attempted to arrest a male who was wanted for Domestic abuse offences. Unfortunately, the male was not at the address.
  • Attended a log whereby the neighbours were reporting a dangerous dog running around the street.  The address was visited by our dangerous dog unit.
  • Safeguarded 2 children from residential care home.
  • Conducted reassurance patrols around the local primary & secondary schools due to ongoing reports of dangerous parking.
  • Met with Bromford housing to discuss ongoing issues around ASB issues & neighbour disputes in an attempt to find a resolution.
  • Conducted a search on a male due to reports the male was carrying a knife. No knife was found on the male.
  • Made referrals to social services regarding a vulnerable elderly male.
  • Conducted a reassurance visit to a vulnerable male, who has been a victim of harassment
  • Found, and booked a large knife into property for disposal.
  • Conducted a voluntary interview for male who needed questioning regarding threats.
  • Attended multiple police logs regarding Domestic abuse.
  • Completed and issues a community resolution which is an Out of court disposal 
  • Attended an on-going neighbourhood dispute regarding noise & verbal abuse.  Sandwell ASB team 
  • Taken a victim statement for a public order offence.
  • Submitted x 2 pieces of intelligence regarding drug dealing.
  • Placed a ‘marker’ on a vehicle for no insurance & potential drug dealing
  • Delivered a community protection 
  • Dealt with a hate crime investigation.
  • Arrested a male who was wanted for breaching a court order.
  •
