Radford Weekly Update


Here is your quick round up from the team as to what’s been happening this past week in Radford:

 

Vehicle Crime 

 

We have had reports across Radford of vehicle’s being broken into.  Vans are being targeted for tools. We are reviewing CCTV images and other evidence to try and identify suspects and local officers have been carrying out house to house enquiries. You can help by marking and registering your tools and any other valuables on the Secure Asset Register.

 

Information can be found on our website preventing thieves from stealing valuables from your car or van.

 

Burglary  

 

On the Thursday 11th April at approximately 6:30 pm following a call of males jumping into a rear garden off Cheveral Avenue, officers attended the location including the dog unit and contained the area. It was discovered that a burglary had taken place. Offenders had smashed the glass in rear French doors. Officers arrested a suspect nearby. Great result.

 

Robbery 

 

An attempted robbery was reported off Sandy Lane on Saturday 13th April at 5:30 pm.  Officers were deployed and carried out an area search. Two persons were arrested. Fantastic outcome.
