Crime updates for Parkhall Neighbourhood 15-04-2024 to 21-04-2024

Good afternoon

Acquisitive crime remains very low in the Parkhall neighbourhood with no recorded Acquisitive crimes for the above dates. This is great news for the community but as usual we ask all of our residents to remain vigilant to try to ensure that crime levels remain as low as possible. Just by doing some simple things like locking all doors/windows/side gates fitting steering wheel locks/Driveway bollards,  ensuring house alarm is on, these are just a few things but can make a huge difference.

Your local Police Neighbourhood team are around and about on patrol  but our greatest asset are our communities working together not just with the police but other partner agencies also.

Acquisitive Crime “is a criminal offence, such as theft, aimed at acquiring property for the offender” (Oxford Dictionary of Law Enforcement, 2007). It is often described as “volume crime” that is “any crime which, through its sheer volume, has a significant impact on the community and the ability of the local police to tackle it and includes priority crimes such as street robbery, burglary and vehicle-related criminality” (College of Policing).

Many Thanks

Delves Police Neighbourhood team
