Dear Resident, Two of our PCSOs were able to stop and identify three persons who had been responsible for a number of shoplifting offences over the past couple of weeks. The two PCSOs attended the store just after the offenders had stolen items and so set out for an area search where the two males and one female were located around 20 minutes after the offence. The PCSOs were able to recover a small amount of stock but unfortunately it is believed the offenders had already sold the items in a nearby location. As a result of gaining the Three persons details the team are now working on linking the three persons to other offences via CCTV from previous offences committed at the same store and other local stores. This will enable officers to follow up and arrest those involved.
