We've had recent reports of an active scammer in our area that we want to make people aware of.

He operates at the Hobs Moat Road shops. His scam is that pretends to be a parking attendant, targeting mainly elderly females, convincing them that they need to pay to park at the location. Once convinced, he produces what looks likes a card reader in order for them to pay. This enables him to clone bank cards to access their bank account and their money.

He is described as a mixed race male between 30-40 years of age. Quite tall and usually wearing dark clothing accompanied with a plain high visibility jacket/vest. 

Please spread the word as much as possible. We are aware that a lot of elderly people may not have WMNow and therefore, won't receive this message.
