Weekly update from the Bushbury and Low Hill neighbourhood policing team

Good Afternoon Resident

Here’s a quick round up from myself and the rest of the Bushbury and Low Hill neighbourhood policing team.

What’s been happening

  • Burglaries

Since the 25th December 2024 we have no reported burglaries within the Bushbury and Low Hill neighbourhood which is extremely positive news, however this does not mean we can become complacent.

Lock up, protect your home.

✔️ Keep your doors and windows locked whether you’re in or out.

✔️If you have an alarm make sure you use it

✔️Remove keys from locks and keep out of reach from windows or doors

If you feel you are aware of any suspicious behaviour or have any concerns in relation to the above message please contact us via 101 or WMPLive Chat. We always recommend reporting via the appropriate channels 999 in an emergency or 101/ live-chat to ensure preventative work can be conducted by your neighbourhood team.

  • Update on vehicle crime.

Over the past 7 days we have seen a decrease in vehicle related crime. As a neighbourhood team we are currently using both officer and community related intelligence to reduce the amount of vehicle crime within the area.

If you feel you could contribute to this intelligence please don’t hesitate to report it via WMP or Crime Stoppers. The information provided will and can remain completely anonymous.

The information you provide can and is paramount to the success of this operation in keeping your community and property safe on the road.

  • Community Engagement

The local neighbourhood has been working with partnership agencies such as Wolverhampton Homes, The Antisocial behaviour team and the neighbourhood safety coordinator to ensure the welfare of all residents. This work includes information sharing and joint support visits to reduce the risk of neighbourhood tensions escalating.

Your local neighbourhood team would like to wish all residents a happy and safe new year.
