Weekly update from the Bushbury and Low Hill neighbourhood policing team

Good Afternoon Resident,

Here’s a quick round up from myself and the rest of the Bushbury and Low Hill neighbourhood policing team.

What’s been happening

  • Burglaries
  • Since the 12th December 2025 we have seen a reduction in burglaries within the Bushbury and Low Hill neighbourhood which is extremely positive news, however this does not mean we can become complacent.

  • Neighbourhood Police Update
  • Neighbourhood officers attended a number of properties this week conducting local arrests for crimes within your community with a record of four offenders within one single property. Without the hard work of the community and the team the information provided to support these warrants would not be possible.

  • Community Engagement
  • This week neighbourhood PCSO’s 31794 and 31905 attended the local community centres providing advice, guidance and support around antisocial behaviour. It was also a positive experience to see the hard work and dedication the local volunteers provide to support the events hosted at the community hubs.

These community hubs provide mental health and wellbeing, family support, career opportunities, providing the community with local places and groups to attend and encourage residents to stay connected with the local community. The locations can be found below:

    Big Venture Centre

    17 Chesterton Road

    Wolverhampton

    WV10 8SP

    FIFTH AVENUE COMMUNITY CENTRE

    14 Kempthorne Avenue

    Low Hill,

    Wolverhampton

    WV10 9JG

    Low Hill Community Centre

    Kempthorne Ave, Wolverhampton WV10 9JJ

Also, on Friday 17th January PCSO’s Ryan and Steve attended the Low Hill Library to conduct the first of many community drop in clinics. This event ran from 1500-1600hrs allowing the local community to meet the neighbourhood PCSO’s but also raise concerns which can be resolved by joint agency partnership working. We would like to thank those that attended and will look forward to hosting more within 2025, all details will be published on WMNOW and the Low Hill police twitter page.
