Kingstanding Weekly Round Up

Hello,  Here’s a quick round up from the Kingstanding neighbourhood policing team.

 

 What’s been happening.

 

  • The kingstanding Neighbourhood Team helped local response units with an armed man waving a bladed article around on Hurstwood Road, the male was subsequently arrested and his vehicle seized.
  •  

  • The team have also assisted in finding and safeguarding two vulnerable missing persons.
  •  

     

  • A car was stopped on the Warren Farm Road and was found to have cannabis on board and the driver also had no insurance. The car was seized and the driver dealt with accordingly. 
  •  

     

     

     “Cuppa with a Copper”

    Was held On the 1st February at the ECO hub Witton Lakes and went very well.

    We are awaiting the date for the next one and will inform you as soon as we can.

     

    “Community speed watch”

    We Are inviting Members of the public to join our community speed watch we already have one group but we want more, so if you are interested in keeping your roads safe and wish to make a difference then please contact us for more information. 

    “STREETWATCH”

    We are looking for volunteers to form street watch groups in KINGSTANDING,

    If you are interested in forming or becoming a member of street watch then please contact us for more details. 

     

    “MOBILE POLICE STATION”

    We will be out in the mobile police station at Princess Alice Retail Park on Saturday 15/02/2025 from around 09:30 and Sunday the 16/02/2025 at 09:30 on the Witton Lakes car park off Faulkners Farm Drive. We will be offering crime prevention advice and equipment and we will have Bicycle marking kits available to prevent Bike theft please bring your Bicycle’s to be marked!!
