This week the team have been busy out and about the neighbourhood;
PCSO's conducted a safety online talk as well as talking about Anti Social Behaviour to Year 5 and 6 at Radleys Primary School, Rushall. Reassurance patrols have been conducted at Morrisons Car Park, Aldridge following some reports of stolen vehicles. When we was patrolling there was a motorcycle that was left outside not secure, advice given to the owner on return. Earlier in the day a motorbike was stolen from the location so anyone who drives a motorbike/moped or scooter or know anyone who owns one, please educate them to secure them even for a quick visit into a shop! It only takes a matter of seconds to steal a moped, scooter or motorcycle - see below link for tips how to reduce the chance of theft. https://www.police.uk/cp/crime-prevention/keeping-vehicles-safe/theft-motorcycles-scooters/
PCSO's was called to another report of off road bikes on Engine Lane, Brownhills. We are working closely with Staffs Police, Walsall Council and meetings with the land owner to tackle these issues and come up with a solution to secure the land.
Officers arrested a male prolific shoplifter for 4 offences in Aldridge and Walsall Wood.
Patrols have been conducted around Oak Park and KFC Walsall Wood due to ongoing issues with ASB.
PCSO's have attended the Aldridge Streetwatch patrolling around Lazy Hill this week. If anyone is interested in joining Streetwatch please see the link below. We do have other areas in Streetly, Walsall Wood that operate a group of volunteers.
