Here is your quick round up from me and the rest of the Sherbourne neighbourhood policing team.
 
What’s been happening?

Our week started off with a joint operation that saw officers and PCSOs from our team join with our colleagues from the Henley and Longford Neighbourhood Team as well as WMP Traffic and the Road Harm Prevention Team to conduct stops on vehicles travelling through the city. We were also joined by the Driver and Vehicle Standard Agency (DVSA) and Licensing (for taxis etc.). A total of 22 vehicles were stopped examined resulting in 10 vehicles being prohibited, 16 drivers being reported for offences, 2 vehicles seized for no insurance and 1 person arrested for immigration matters.

Our officers have arrested a male this week for Shoplifting and Assault. The male who is a prolific shoplifter and has carried out a number of offences across our wards was arrested at the start of the week. The officers interviewed the male then built a full file to present to the courts. The male attended court and was sentenced to 22 Weeks in prison for offences committed. 

As always, our team has been out on patrols. This vehicle was stopped by officers on Tuesday. Checks showed the vehicle has no Tax so officers pulled the car over. Further checks showed the driver was a provisional license holder and did not have valid insurance for the vehicle. 

Crime Figures.

There were No reported vehicle offence on the Sherbourne Ward over the past Nine Days. 

There was One reported Burglary Offences on the Sherbourne Ward over the past Nine Days. This was a Burglary of a Business premises that took place on Spon End.
