Good morning All, Hope your week is going amazing cause ours has been really active and full. Hopefully i will be able to tell you the story of our week and you can all understand what we have been doing. Our PCSOs have recently visited Abbey Primary School to engage with both students and staff, and where we have also taken the students to do a joint littler pick and where we also ended our Junior PCSO course with a well-deserved presentation for our amazing young officers. To stop and discourage criminal activity, Bloxwich NHT officers have continued their patrols around Bloxwich High Street which continues to be one notable patrol area where enhanced visibility has been implemented to deter possible criminals. We are continuing with these patrols in order to combat shoplifting, reducing incidents and improving community safety which are the goals of our proactive approach in these hotspot locations and we also conducted patrols around the King George V Playing Fields throughout the day and night where there was previous for fires being lit around the area. Also this week, the Bloxwich NHT has taken proactive steps to address criminal activity and support vulnerable members of our community. Three male individuals were arrested for separate offences: - One male was taken into custody in connection with a robbery and possession of Class A Drugs. -A second male was arrested for breach of court bail and was recalled to prison. - The third individual was apprehended for shoplifting offences.
In addition to our enforcement activity, our officers also provided assistance to a vulnerable female found under the influence of alcohol. Our team ensured she was safely returned home and are working to provide referrals to appropriate support services to help her address the challenges she is facing.
We remain committed to safeguarding our community through a balance of enforcement and support.
Would you like to get involved with Street Watch? Street Watch is a community-led project. It’s made up of groups of volunteers who are at least 18 years old. The groups go out and patrol their area. The patrols help to stop crime and anti-social behaviour. They also help people in the area get to know each other. As a Street Watch member, you'll patrol your local area alongside one of your neighbours for at least two hours every month, at times which suit you. You'll talk to people you meet and encourage them to take an active interest in keeping your area safe. So, your neighbours know what you're there for, you wear a high-visibility Street Watch jacket. You'll be supported by: -the local Street Watch coordinator -your local police
Twitter/ X We try and tweet as often as we can between our commitments. So, follow us over there for any updates on what we are getting up to. @BloxwichWMP. We will attempt to provide you with different pictures from our day to day patrols, schools we interact with and other commitments we might have. | ||||||
