Burglary  

Between the 6th of April and 14th April there has been no reports of burglary.  

Theft of motor vehicle  

Between 6 pm on the 3rd of April and 5 am on the 8th of April unknown offender/s have stolen a BMW M5 on Alvis Walk, whilst the victim was working away. This vehicle was later recovered from the Wolverhampton area and is being forensically examined.  

Between 8.15 am on the 9th of April and 12.55 pm on the 9th of April unknown offender/s have stolen a BMW X6 Coupe have used a reader to gain entry to the vehicle and made off.  

Theft from a motor vehicle - There have been no reports of Theft from a motor vehicle, since 10th February 2025. 

Interference with a motor vehicle 

Between 6th April and 14th April there have been no reports of Interference with a motor vehicle.  

Castle Bromwich 

Burglary  

Between 11.00 pm on the 11th of April and 6 am of the 12th of April a unknown male has gained entry via an open window and stolen a laptop from an address on The Green. The same male had also stolen various items from the victim's vehicle on the drive.  

Theft of motor vehicle  

Since 6th April and 14th April there has been no reports of theft of a motor vehicle.  

Theft from a motor vehicle  

Between 9.45 pm on the 8th of April and 7.00 am on the 9th of April unknown offender/s have stolen a front bumper, fog light and grill from an Audi TT parked in a car park on Hodnell Close. 

Between 8 pm on the 10th of April and 7.44 am on the 11th of April unknown offender/s have stolen a bumper, grill and vehicle registration from a Ford Puma in a car park on Hodnell Close.  

Interference with a motor vehicle  

Between 6th April and 14th April there have been no reports of Interference with a motor vehicle. 

Kingshurst  

 Burglary  

Between 28th March and 7th April, unknown offender/s have removed the key safe box from a property in Laburnum Avenue, whilst the occupant was in hospital. They carried out an untidy search of the house and made off with a television from the address. 

 Theft of motor vehicle  

On the 9th of April between midnight and 4 am unknown offender/s have stolen a Ford Kuga from Yorks Wood Drive by unknown means.  

On the 11th of April between 3 am and 10.30 am unknown offender/s have stolen a Vauxhall Corsa by unknown means.

Between 6th of April and 14th April there have been no reports of theft from a motor vehicle.  

Interference with a motor vehicle 

Between 6th of April and 14th April there have been no reports of Interference with a motor vehicle. 

What’s been happening? Good news 

This week the team have made further arrests to protect domestic violence victims throughout the area. This included a male who was wanted for harassing his ex-partner and another for a breach of non-molestation. They have also arrested 2 offenders for out of force offences. One male for burglary and another male for a sexual assault.  

A male has also been arrested for failing to attend court and 3 shop lifting offences in the Castle Bromwich area.  

Other than arrests, we carried out a cuppa with a copper surgery at Castle Bromwich Library on Friday 11th April. We have also been carrying out school parking patrols around Merstone/Forest Oak School.  

On the 4th of April we conducted Speed Watch on Parkfield Drive, Castle Bromwich in company with the local councillor Alan Feeney. Out of 280 vehicles, 10 vehicles were caught speeding and warning letters were issued to them.
