BMW thefts in Solihull


Good morning Resident,

We have had a number of reports of burglary, attempted burglary and vehicle thefts where BMW have been targeted in Solihull. It has been different models of BMWs and they have been stolen with keys taken during a burglary and with a relay tracker device off driveways.

Our officers have been out viewing CCTV as part of ongoing investigations in to these crimes. We are also out on patrol at key times. Two men were arrested on Friday in relation to vehicle thefts across Solihull.

 

Burglary and vehicle crime are a priority for Solihull Police and we are working hard to target offenders. If you see anyone acting in a suspicious manner and believe a crime is about to take place call 999. Consider fitting anti-snap locks to all external doors. Attempted burglaries have failed due to thieves not being able to lock snap door handles to gain access to homes
