We hope you have been staying safe during this spell of hot weather.

Temperatures will remain high over the next couple of days with night time temperatures staying high too.

With this in mind please make sure your home and vehicles are secure before going to bed.

Have the windows on your car been down? Please check they are closed and your vehicle is locked when you park up.

If you have your home windows open overnight please make sure they’re not ones that could be easily accessed by sneak in burglars, ground floor windows in particular. 

For upstairs windows make sure they can’t be accessed by a flat roof or garden fences/buildings.

Please don’t let opportunist thieves spoil your weekend, take a couple of minutes before going to bed to check your home and vehicles are as secure as they can be.
