Hi Resident, Its time to talk about our mental health. No matter our age, keeping our mental health strong is a vital part of our lives. Thats where Time to Talk day comes in and the QWELL and KOOTH Mental Health Services.
Date: Thursday, 6 February 2026 Aim: Encourage open, stigma-free conversations about mental health.
What Are Kooth & Qwell?Kooth – Free, safe, and anonymous mental health support for young people (around ages 10–25). Live text counselling: 12–10 pm weekdays, 6–10 pm weekends 24/7 access to articles, forums, journaling, and self-help tools No referral needed, fully confidential Qwell – Free online counselling and resources for adults (18+). 24/7 platform access, with live chat and messaging Professional counsellors and a supportive peer community BACP-accredited for quality and safety
How to Use Them for Time to Talk Day 1. Share Beforehand – Let students, colleagues, and communities know these services exist. Use posters, newsletters, or assemblies. 2. Start Simple Conversations – Ask “How are you feeling today?” and listen without judgement. Signpost to Kooth/Qwell if needed. 3. Use the Platforms on the Day – Explore articles, try journaling, or connect with a counsellor. 4. Keep the Momentum Going – Remind people that support is available year-round.
