This is a update for crimes that have occurred in the area of Oxley Wolverhampton between the dates of 01/08/25-14/08/25 

 

OXLEY AREA CRIME UPDATE NEWSLETTER

 

🏠 BURGLARY - RENTON ROAD

When: Between Wednesday 30th July and Friday 1st August 2025
Reported: Saturday 3rd August 2025

What Happened:

  • Unknown offenders broke into a property by smashing rear glass door

  • Items stolen: Washing machine, oven, dishwasher, and power tools

  • Suspects escaped through the front door after unlocking it from inside

    • 🚗 BURGLARY & VEHICLE THEFT - BRUNSLOW CLOSE, 

    When: Between Thursday 8th August and Saturday 10th August 2025
    Reported: Saturday 10th August 2025

    What Happened:

  • Suspects forced entry by removing a side door from its hinges

  • Attempted to break rear door lock, then forced entry through plastic panel of second door

  • Conducted search of property and located vehicle keys in kitchen

  • Items stolen: Two vehicles

    ✅ Lock up properly - Check all doors and windows before going out
    ✅ Don't leave tools outside - Bring them in or lock them away
    ✅ Hide your car keys - Keep them away from doors and windows
    ✅ Secure back doors - These are often targeted by thieves
    ✅ Look out for each other - Report anything suspicious
