Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team |
||
Dear Residents
An update from your local Sherbourne Police Team.
WHAT’S BEEN HAPPENING?
Officers continue to conduct anti-social behaviour patrols due to an increase in reports of this type of nuisance behaviour. Locations we are concentrating on are Holyhead Road, The Alvis Retail Park and green spaces within the neighbourhood. Please be vigilant if you are on foot in these locations as reports include kids riding around on pedal bikes pulling wheelies. We are trying to identify them so we can conduct visits.
We continue to make good vehicle seizures for no tax and no insurance. As always, please report any suspicious vehicles that may turn up in your neighbourhood. If they are not a vehicle you recognise or it does not move for sometime it could be stolen.
HALLOWEEN.
The Neighbourhood Team will be out n about over the Halloween period. There will generally be more officers patrolling due to people being out, Please stay safe, vigilant and warm if you are planning to go out trick or treating.
CRIME UPDATE
There has been a theft of Motorbike reported in Dulverton Avenue.
Reports of theft of number plates from vehicles in Donnington Road and Tarlington Road.
Report from Lake View Road of a male in a grey hoodie managed to get into a Land Rover and try and remove the steering lock. The male did not get away with the vehicle and made off in an orange vehicle.
FORUM MEETING
We shall leave this reminder for the forum meeting on the weekly message service in case we have new members join WMNow.
The Sherbourne PACT/Forum meeting will be held at the Coundon Social club on Thursday 20th November from 6pm until 7pm.
Please come along to discuss any issues you may have. We will also invite the local councillors.
Regards
Sherbourne Neighbourhood Police Team
GET INVOLVED Street watch is a community patrol initiative that helps you make a difference where you live. Street watch gives you and your community an opportunity to keep your area safe, including just walking round your neighbourhood, which can really help. Local police keep in regular contact with street watch members to share information and work in partnership with you. You will also be patrolling with your local PCSO’s once a month.
