October Half Term at the Police Museum

The West Midlands Police Museum is on the lookout for the next generation of super sleuths to try our new detective trail!  

This October half-term, from Wednesday 29 October to Sunday 2 November, the historic Lock-Up in Birmingham transforms into the Lock-Up Mouse Detective Academy — a thrilling, interactive experience designed to entertain and inspire curious young minds. 

Children aged 5–12 are invited to team up with the Museum’s very own crime-fighting mascot Lock-Up Mouse, to crack codes, solve puzzles, and uncover clues hidden throughout the museum’s exhibits.  

Each junior detective will receive their own Detective Academy file, a cuddly Lock-Up Mouse plush, and — upon completing their mission — a special WMP Museum sew-on patch to take home! 

Tickets are £20 per child and include: 

Whether your child dreams of becoming a forensic scientist, a police officer, or simply loves solving mysteries, this event promises a half-term adventure they won’t forget.
