Hello,
I hope this message finds you well. As we move into November I wanted to share a quick round-up of what’s been happening across our local area, what’s coming up, and how we’re working together to keep our community safe and thriving.
Arrests: 15 for a variety of offences Stop Search: 7 Positive outcomes: 15
We’re continuing patrols and targeted operations in these areas and welcome any feedback or concerns you’d like to raise.
🤝 Partnership Working
We having been working closely with trading standards and have secured a 3-month closure order which was granted by Birmingham Magistrates court yesterday for the Khyber Shop 20, 352 Bradford Road, Castle Bromwich B36 9AD.
Reason for closure: following complaints about the shop, trading standards seized 1560 packets of illicit cigarettes, 79 packets of illicit tobacco & 1219 illegal vapes. On 18/06/25 a test purchase was made at the premises of illegal cigarettes

Thank you for your feedback in relation to speeding we have listened to your concerns and are planning future speed watches
We have many volunteer roles within the police, including special constables, speed watch, street watch, cadet leaders.

🗞️ Round-Up from All Wards
Here’s a snapshot of key updates across our patch: - Pcso's Khan and Took have today been visiting some of our more vulnerable residents in Smiths Wood advising them about our Darker Nights Campaign and offering crime prevention items - We have visited Smith Wood youth project to education the children about being safe and respecting others during Halloween and bonfire night. - We are working closely with the council and continue to focus on areas of concern regarding Anti-social behaviour - We have continued our primary school patrols to ensure all parents are not committing any road traffic offences to ensure children are safe coming and going from school - We understand your concerns regarding Anti-social behaviour at Woodlands Campus on Auckland drive and are working closely with the College and Solihull community housing to improve this situation Reporting: Report suspicious activity to 101 Contact Crimestoppers 100% anonymously Tel 0800 555 111 or report online https://crimestoppers-uk.org/give-information
