Suspicious activity on Duggins Lane |
Hello,
We have received a few reports of suspicious activity on Duggins Lane the past few days and wanted to give out a warning to any nearby residents. It seems like one incident was an attempt theft of motor vehicle using a relay device or even potentially an attempted burglary. Faraday pouches stop the signal being detected by these ralay scanners so if you have a keyless car please consider getting one. Additionally, steering wheel locks are a great deterrent for theives scoping out potential cars. Finally, make sure your locks (especially on your back door) have anti-snap locks to prevent thieves from gaining entry to your home. If you have any information about any weird or suspicious activity on Duggins Lane over the past few days, can you please get in contact with the team on rural@westmidlands.police.uk Any information is useful as we try to piece together what has happened so we can better advise residents on how to stay safe. Any concerns or questions don't hesitate to get in touch with us.
