Dear Residents, PCSO Gilkes here this is a quick round up from me and the rest of the Hillfield’s neighbourhood policing team. What`s been happening: We have conducted high visible patrols around your neighbourhood, aiming at the hotspots for anti-social behaviour. We have conducted joint visits, issued CPWs and CPNs. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: Your local Neighbourhood team have been out and about engaging in the community. This week we have been conducting joint visits with housing associations at locations where there have been ongoing issues. We aim to work with partners to help resolve issues. We have also been conducting patrols on Coronation Road where there have been numerous reports of anti-social behaviour. We have been issuing CPWs and CPNs to those that have been identified in causing issues in this location. We held our first CUPPA WITH COPPA event of the year earlier this week at the Mosaic Church Vauxhall Street. It was great to see residents turning up and getting an understanding of the issues that was raised. These sessions run every Wednesday and Fridays 11:00-14:00 every week at the location, which everyone is welcome to attend. There is FREE tea and coffee available. We will be next there on Wednesday 28th January at 11:00. We hope to see more of you there in the next one. We have a CUPPA WITH COPPA event being held on Tuesday 20th January 15:00-16:00 at the Gateway Adelaide Street, Coventry CV1 5TU. We hope to see many of you there. ARRESTS: This week your local officers made some great arrests this set. Altogether there were 2 arrests made regarding known offenders causing issues within the local neighbourhood this week. OTHER HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK: We have been issuing more CPWs this week to those that have been identified in causing anti-social behaviour in your local neighbourhood. We have also been out issuing CPNs to those that have breeched their CPW. GREAT NEWS: Your local neighbourhood team are looking a setting up a Street watch in Hillfields. Street Watch Team is a community patrol initiative that helps you make a difference where you live. Street watch gives you and your community an opportunity to keep your area safe.
