Dear Resident, This week saw our team take part in another three warrants working with Coventry City Council Safer Housing team. On Wednesday the team accompanied the council officers to three addresses suspected of being illegal HMO (houses in multiple occupancy). At one of the addresses a male was arrested for possession with intent to supply after a large quantity of cannabis was found in the room. Officer entered to find 14 jars, 2 bags and a plastic container all containing cannabis. A set of scales were also found with the jars.

Officers on patrol pulled over this ford transit van. Checks on the vehicle showed it was not insureds. As a result the vehicle was seized and taken away by our recovery agent.
As part of our day to day activity the team with also carry investigations into crimes such as Theft from shops and stalls (shoplifting), Theft from motor vehicle, Harassment etc. This week has seen a number of offenders identified for some of these crimes.
