Here is a quick round up from me and the Longbridge Team

Our Priorities

Anti-social behaviour, shop theft and drugs around the Longbridge retail and South & City College area. Concerns highlighted to local officers and from call data received to WMP with incidents to this locality.

We are experiencing an increase in robbery offences in Longbridge. Recent offences from Mid-October have been around the Rea Valley Route which runs from Arden Road, Frankley to Longbridge Retail Park.

A number of concerns reported of speeding and poor driving across the Longbridge area, There have also been reports of ASB on car parks around The Great Park.

What’s Been Happening?

We have been conducting our high visibility school patrols engaging with children and parents.

Reassurance visits have been conducted around Frankley and Rubery to the victims of burglaries, providing crime prevention advice and handing out crime prevention items. We are increasing our presence within these areas to continue to provide reassurance to all residents.

We held our PCSO Meets The Community in Marks and Spencer and discussed a range of topics surrounding the area.

We attended a meeting with South & City College to meet the safeguarding leads and the red coats. We are working together ensure any anti-social behaviour on the retail park is dealt with appropriately. We have been patrolling around the break times for the college to actively engage with students.
