OP WOODCORE remains a part of our continued efforts to provide high visibility patrols and reassurance in areas which have higher statistics of burglaries, this will be ongoing for an unspecified length of time. Our regular patrols in green spaces continue in areas such as Caludon Castle Park, Stoke Heath, Barras Green, The Lindfield and St Margaret’s Skate Park. To reduce anti-social behaviour, our targeted guardian patrols remain active on Walsgrave Road, Riley Square, Hillmorton Road and Edgwick Park. We will be holding meetings at some of our community spaces soon so that you the public can meet some of our DNOs (Designated Neighbourhood Officers) they oversee a particular ward within the Stoke & Wyken area and work together closely with our PCSOs. We are regularly updating our X/Twitter page, please follow this for more information, regarding our upcoming meetings, we will be announcing these via WMnow so watch this space.

PC Hundel had arranged for mounted units to visit Coventry on the 10th of February; they had visited several green spaces within our local areas.
We also previously shared a survey in partnership with the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner to capture your thoughts and concerns about antisocial behaviour in your local community, we will share the QR code for this below again for you to fill out. We take antisocial behaviour seriously and it is at the core of our neighbourhood policing activity. We’ve developed a plan to reduce antisocial behaviour for 2026 onwards, and your views are central to helping this plan continue to grow and work effectively for our local communities. Antisocial behaviour can have a real impact on how safe people feel where they live. By taking part in the survey, you can help identify what matters most in your area and where action should be focused. The survey will be open throughout February, and everyone who lives, works, or spends time in the West Midlands is encouraged to take part. Feedback from the survey will directly inform the approach taken by West Midlands Police and partners to reduce and prevent antisocial behaviour moving forward. To have your say, complete the survey before 28 February 2026 by clicking this link or scanning the QR code below
