Hello, and welcome to your round up from the St Matthew’s Neighbourhood Policing Team, part of Walsall’s Local Policing Area (LPA). Keeping the different communities in St Matthew’s informed of some of the activities that we have done recently. ✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅ A number of crime prevention advice surgeries were conducted at various locations including the Lichfield Street Hub Library, Nationwide bank, Lloyds Bank and Mandir Baba Balak Nath, Walsall A number of Acceptable Behaviour Contracts were issued to youths causing anti social behaviour in and around Walsall town centre. A community speed watch was conducted on Mellish Road, 300 vehicles passed in the hour and 2 vehicles were in excess of the speed limit and will receive appropriate warnings. Officers continue to visit retailers in Walsall town centre tackling crimes impacting businesses in our local communities and also been conducting high visibility patrols in and around the town and Caldmore. 📅 Upcoming Police & Community Engagements 📅 - Event Name: Street watch with Walsall college students
