Hello Resident,
Good news from Your Local Policing Team ✅ This week officers from the Penn and Merry Hill neighbourhood team attended St Joseph’s Church Merry Hill Coffee Morning, Curling, and Warstones Library. We spent time speaking with residents, offering crime prevention advice and reassurance, and discussing any concerns people had about the local area.
Why It Matters: These visits help us stay connected with the community and make sure local residents feel supported. You said you wanted to see more officers out and about — You said, we did 👮♂️☕ We’ll continue carrying out regular patrols and community visits across the ward.
Speeding Operation We also want to let residents know that a speed enforcement operation will be conducted on roads of concern within the Penn and Merry Hill areas. This is in response to concerns raised by the community, and we will continue to monitor speeding issues to improve road safety.
📅 Upcoming Police & Community Engagements 📅 Event Name: Police Drop-In Surgery Date/Time: 7 March | 10:00 – 11:00 Location: Swanmore Community Centre Details: Informal opportunity to speak with the neighbourhood team about local issues. No appointment needed.
