Hello Resident's and Business's,
Here is your update from the St Michael's Neighbourhood Team 2
✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅
This week’s efforts saw 10 individuals gracing the Custody Suites at CHACE AVENUE POLICE STATION courtesy of St Michaels Team 2. The arrests being a mixture of persons arrested for Robbery's, Recall's to Prison, Shop theft and being in Possession of an Offence Weapon.
There were two robbery arrests this week. Our team worked relentlessly to trawl through hours of CCTV to identify the persons responsible for these offences . We applied our local knowledge of known offenders and worked through associates of these individuals in order to identify and make these robbery arrests.
We have continued with our Targeted Guardian Patrols in LADY HERBERTS GARDENS, FAR GOSFORD STREET AND SPON END. These patrols are conducted by uniformed and non-uniformed officers. We are able to patrols local hot spots without being instantly recognised, actively looking to deter criminality and identify person/s looking to buy and sell drugs within communities.
✅ Crime Prevention Tips:
Review your home security 🏠 We urge all residents to take a few simple, effective steps to protect your property and deter criminals. · Lock Up: Always lock your doors and windows, even when you are at home. If you have a UPVC door, make sure to lift the handle and turn the key to fully engage the locks. · Light It Up: When you go out, leave a light on or use a timer switch to make your home look occupied. A well-lit home is a deterrent. · Hide Valuables: Keep car keys, wallets, cash, and laptops out of sight and away from windows and letterboxes. · Set Your Alarm: If you have a house alarm, please use it every time you leave the house and at night. · Secure Side Access: Ensure any side gates, sheds, or outbuildings are locked and secure.
