Hello Resident,
Here is a round-up of what Officers have been up to in the past week.
Short Heath:
Willenhall PCSO's along with Street Watch, Short Heath Councillors, Willenhall Wombles and residents, Brackendale shopping centre on Stroud Avenue to do a litter pick. Youths that caused ASB issues at the Brackendale shopping centre have also been issues ASB warning letters. Officers attended Pool Hayes school to cover the dangers of social media and how to stay safe online to year 7 students.
Willenhall North: Officers attended a Police surgery at the Hive with WHG. Issues have been raised regarding Off road vehicles, parking and an untaxed vehicle. Officers attended a Children's care homes to answer any questions and discuss concerns.
Willenhall South: All youths that have been causing Anti-social behaviour within McDonalds Willenhall have been issued ASB warning letters. No further issues have been raised. Patrols of Western Avenue have been on going, further reports of youths climbing the scaffolding. Patrols of Willenhall Town and the Willenhall Memorial Park have been positive however reports of youths causing ASB in Pinson Road, the local council are looking to install a camera to continue to monitor and tackle any future issues. Officers have attended the Cozy Corner at Gomer Street. Officers attended St Giles church for a Warm Spaces and Breakfast Club, This is on every Tuesday morning between 10 am to 12pm and everyone is welcome.
1 x Male was arrested for Robbery 1 x Male arrested for 2 counts of assault and 1 count criminal damage Willenhall Officers helped assist with an incidents in Darlaston. Willenhall officers did school patrols and local parks reference social media posts regarding Red vs Blue. Next week Officers and local councillors will be visiting stores to set up a retail radio scheme Officers will be visiting St Thomas More, Willenhall E-Act and Pool Hayes to conduct police surgery's with the students. Officers will be hosting a Police surgery at Queens Lea, Community Centre at 2pm on Wednesday the 18th Officers will be attending the Meals for the community at the Chart Centre Gomer Street between 13:00-15:00 Anyone welcome for a hot meal.
