Community Engagement meetings

We have held our community engagement meetings this month at Hawkesley Community Centre and the Kings Norton library. 

Big thanks to everyone who attended our community meetings! Great discussions, valuable feedback, and brilliant community spirit!

Street Watch

We completed two Street Watch walks with our Kings Norton group and have another walk taking place this Sunday for this month joined by our dedicated team of volunteers. We engaged with the local members of the public during walks and reported the issues to keep our area safe!

Thank you to our growing team of amazing volunteers for their time and efforts. We appreciate all your hard work you do for the community!

Abandoned Vehicles Removed

We identified three abandoned untaxed and vandalised vehicles during our patrols in the area and seized them from locations including Burley Way, Longdales Road and Shannon Road. 

Reassurance Visits

Following recent attempted burglary on Oak Turn Drive, Officers made a reassurance visit to residents and provided crime prevention advice.

Speed Watch Alert

Our Speed Watch scheme will be covering locations across Kings Norton soon. Volunteers will be monitoring speeds – keep an eye out for signs and let’s keep our roads safe!

Drop-In Sessions at Sweet Project 

We are working together with a fantastic team of social workers at Sweet Project in Hawkesley to deliver face-to-face Drop-In sessions to community members. Please come and see us every month to discuss any issues or concerns you may have in a private and confidential setting with your local neighbourhood officers.
