WICHNOR ROAD- A FORD PUMA was stolen via unknown means(keyless).
DOVE HOUSE LANE-A HYUNDAI IONIQ was stolen via unknown means(keyless).
HOBS MEADOW-A FORD FIESTA was stolen via unknown means(keyless).
I would just like to thank residents who came forward following our appeal for information in relation to the male trying vehicle doors in the LYNDON area and reported further incidents to us. We are continuing to work hard in finding CCTV to identify this person and take positive action.
A steering wheel lock is a great deterrent against this kind of crime or a faraday pouch to block the signal in case suspects are using any relay devices. Car alarms, immobilisers and trackers are also worth investing in. Good quality CCTV equipment covering your driveway is also a deterrent and can give officers valuable footage to assist with apprehending thieves.
