✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅
This week officers from St Matthews have arrested a male that was wanted for bail offences and further arrested for possession of Class A drugs within the Town Centre.
Jointly, with the Pleck Neighbourhood Team Officers have arrested an adult male for possession with intent to supply class A drugs, possession of a bladed article and possession of an offensive weapon in Caldmore.
Alongside these great arrests, the Neighbourhood Team have attended Residents Meetings for over 60’s in Chuckery to offer crime prevention advice and work together to prevent any issues within the building.
There has been a Speed watch operation on Lichfield Street, after listening to members of the public who have expressed concern for speeding vehicles in the area, very positive outcome and offenders will be dealt with accordingly.
There has been a joint operation with Trading Standards from Walsall Council in order to tackle the issue of illegal vapes and counterfeit cigarettes within the Town Centre.
Officers have also been building relationships with various different groups of the community and have attended:
Officers have also held pop up Surgeries at Tesco Extra, Littleton Street West and Lloyds Bank Town Centre, where officers have greeted the community and offered reassurance and Crime Prevention advice.
