Good evening to you all from the Four Oaks and New Hall Neighbourhood Teams

On this set of shifts your neighbourhood teams have been busy in your community carrying out the following tasks

We have been carrying patrols in Mere Green, Walmley and Wylde Green retail areas deterring shoplifters.

Four Oaks Neighbourhood

Theft of motor vehicle

There have been 4 reports of a stolen vehicle in the past week,

Crofters Lane – A Black, BMW, was stolen by unknown means on Tuesday 5th May.

Willmott Road – A, white, BMW was stolen by unknown means on Saturday 9th May.

Dower Road - A White, BMW was stolen by unknown means on Tuesday 12th May.

Dower Road – A Grey, BMW was taken by relay theft on Wednesday 13th May.

Burglaries

Gresley Close – Between Thursday 30th April and Sunday 3rd May offenders have smashed a conservatory window and entered the property stealing jewellery, bags and clothing.

New Hall Neighbourhood

Burglaries

Eachelhurst Road – offenders have entered the property by forcing a window, taking keys to a vehicle and stealing vehicle.

 If you do own a keyless entry vehicle, please make sure that your keys are kept in a faraday pouch (always remember to check your Faraday pouch is still working), when at home or out and about, this will stop thieves getting the signal for your vehicle. Using a steering wheel lock is also a visual deterrent.

 Please remember to lock all windows and doors, do not leave keys in your doors, especially if you have a cat/dog flap, before heading out make sure your home looks like someone is in.

 Surgeries

PCSO Gill Whittingham from the Four Oaks Neighbourhood Team attended Four Oaks Baptist Church for a community day, giving crime prevention advice and talking to local community groups.

PC Dan Smith attended St John’s Church, Walmley to carry out a Police Surgery.
