Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team

Here’s a quick roundup from your local policing team of some of the work we have been doing over the last week in the Blakenall Ward.  Your Designated Neighbourhood Police officer is PC Richard Collins

Officers and PCSOs have carried out hight visibility patrols around the Wyrley View estate. We have also had the mobile police station at the location that has allowed members of the public to come and see officers. A street watch has just been set up in the area this will empower residents. If you would like to join, please sign up to WMNOW 

A Multi Agency Road safety Operation has also bee carried out around Swannie’s fields following reports of off-road bikes this continues to be an issue in the area and we will be working closely with the council.

We have just been provided with several pedal assist bikes that will be utilised around the area by trained officers 

Several arrest have bene made in the area along with the arrest of a male for the theft of a motor vehicle. 

Over the next week will continue to patrol the areas of swamies field and the Wyrley view estate. We will also be carrying out patrols with our newly formed street watch group
