Hello
✅ Good News from St. Michael's Team 2 ✅
This week’s efforts saw 5 individuals gracing the Custody Suites at CHACE AVENUE POLICE STATION courtesy of St Michaels Team Officers. We continue to actively patrol our green spaces in and around Coventry City Centre, ensuring there is regular presence in this areas currently suffering anti social behaviour. This week our focus being Lady Herbert's Gardens, All Saints Square - Far Gosford Street and Gosford Park. Our patrols continue to be a mixture of hi-visibility officers and plain clothes officers, enabling covert patrols, gathering intelligence without attraction attention.
Burglary There has been x 5 Burglary - Business And Community this week.
The St Michaels team has been conducting regular late-night patrols to disrupt potential opportunistic offenders and deter crime. However, enquiries and investigations are also ongoing in relation to previously reported burglaries. Although the team will continue their strategic patrols aimed to prevent and disrupt, there are some things you can also do to deter potential burglars with the warmer weather approaching, we are seeing an increase in reports
This spring and summer be mindful of the weather, here is some tips.
🌊 Water Safety WMP and West Midlands Fire Service (WMFS) strongly advise against swimming in open water such as reservoirs, lakes, or quarries to cool down. Anti-Social Behaviour We are aware of ongoing ASB issues within the St Michael's ward as well as other various areas and properties, and we are taking positive action against this. We will be conducting various joint visits with partner agencies this week to problem addresses that cause ongoing issues for residents and repeat demand. The team is continuing to patrol our usual ASB hotspots and have seen a reduction in incidents when doing so, as well as responding to any new incidents. We are also aware of a number of problem individuals causing regular issues and have conducted home visits on a number of people so far, and we continue our efforts in identifying others.
Reduce Distractions Avoid displaying expensive jewellery, watches, or tech items.
Be Alert to Moped & Bike Snatches Hold your device firmly and close to your body.
STAY SAFE AND ENJOY THE WEATHER….
