CRIME

Report of theft of vehicle from a drive in Cole Court. Incident still under investigation 

WHAT’S BEEN HAPPENING

Officers have been conducting  patrols at key locations in the neighbourhood. This is responding to resident's concerns around anti-social behaviour. Increased patrols will be conducted at the Alvis Retail Park and Lake View Park. Please come and speak to us if you have any concerns. 

It has been Neighbourhood Policing Week this week. This is highlighting the work that individual neighbourhood teams are doing across the force. Each neighbourhood has a DNO (dedicated neighbourhood officer) that works closely with partner agencies, schools and the local community. They also tackle issues that are important to you. To find out who your DNO is please visit the WMP website and put in your ward area. 

WEATHER 

It's going to be a hot one! There is currently a yellow heat alert in place with temperatures set to rise. Please keep hydrated and out of the sun at peak times. Keep an eye on elderly members of the community and stay safe.
