An update from your local Neighbourhood Police Team.

CRIME 

No crime of note.

We are experiencing and increase in anti-social behaviour logs at certain locations across the neighbourhood. Officers will be out and about disrupting this type of behaviour. Please report anything that you are concerned about. 

OP ADVANCE

Officers have been out and about in the neighbourhood all week conducting speedwatch's and traffic operations for Op Advance. A mobile Police station has been parked up at the Alvis Retail Park inviting the public to share information with us about issues in their neighbourhoods.

Other targeted police patrols have been conducted in the City Centre resulting in arrests, vehicle seizures and stop searches. 

Officers have also accompanied trading standards, recovering illegal cigarettes, vapes and counterfeit goods at different locations across the city. 

ENGLAND 

As the England football team progress through the tournament more people will be out socialising. If you are watching the games in drinking establishment's please be aware of people around you and keep your belongings safe as well as yourself. Here's hoping it's coming home!

....And finally 

It looks like another heat wave is on its way. Please stay safe in the sun. Wear sunscreen and try and avoid being out in the midday sun and stay hydrated. .
