Dispersal Order in Cheylesmore after anti-social behaviour

We have a dispersal order in place in the Cheylesmore area of Coventry today after reports of anti-social behaviour.

The order allows officers to direct individuals to leave the area to prevent or reduce anti-social behaviour, harassment, disorder or crime.

People who are told to leave and then return can be arrested.

The dispersal order has been put in place in response to concerns raised by the community.

You will see an enhanced police presence in this area during the next few hours to prevent offences and maintain community safety.
