Hello everyone, 

This is a brief message from St Michael’s Team 1 to let you know some of the things we have been doing in your area this week.

St Michael's Officers have held crime reduction meetings with businesses operating within Coventry City Centre in an effort to reduce retail crime and Anti-Social behaviour. 

St Michael's Officers have applied to obtain closure orders for locations pertinent to Anti-Social Behaviour. ASB remains at the forefront of our operations in an effort to keep the City centre safe for businesses and the public.

Arrests continue to be made of prolific shoplifters within Coventry City Centre and Civil Interventions issued to prevent their movement within the Ring Road.

Lady Herbert's Gardens and Coventry Transport Museum continue to be patrolled by St Michael's Officers in company with partner agencies and various departments from within West Midlands Police to tackle ASB and crime.

We have seen an increase recently in a rise in Theft From Person Offences within Coventry City Centre. We would like to remind you of some simple tips to ensure your property is kept safe.

Please keep all valuables off show in order to keep them from being snatched.

Please keep your mobile phones and electronic devices with you at all times, for example leaving your phone on a table in a cafe in order to purchase another coffee leaves them vulnerable.

Ensure all belongings are taken with you when leaving busses and taxis.

Ensure all electronics are registered for free on immobilise.com to ensure a greater chance of them being returned if stolen.
