Officers from Halesowen Neighbourhood Team and the Guardian Task Force have conducted an operation around Halesowen Bus Station this evening after an increase in anti social behaviour by youths on E Bikes and E Scooters. Several youths were engaged with and intelligence gathering conducted, identifying some of the offenders. Youths parents will be spoken to and Stage 1 ASB notices issued. Officers then patrolled around Shell corner and surrounding streets. We assisted with a vehicle stopped who made off up New England. A male was arrested for drug offences. We also seized 2 E scooters seen driving around the area. The drivers were unaware they were committing an offence. E Scooters are illegal to be rode anywhere in public, without land owners permission. Please be aware of this when you buy them for the kids. |
