Update from Moseley and Kings Heath neighbourhood policing team Dear Resident, Here’s a quick round up from myself and the rest of the Moseley and Kings Heath neighbourhood policing team. What have we done in the local area? Both foot and vehicle patrols across the local policing area, including M&S, Oxford Road and Laurel Court, providing a high-visibility police presence and engaging with members of the public.A police surgery was taken place in Moseley, providing reassurance, community engagement and opportunities for residents to discuss local concerns – thank you to everyone that attended 😊Street watch patrols conducted in Kings Heath alongside our volunteers to address local issues and provide reassurance around Kings Heath High Street. After reports of Anti-Social Behaviour in Kings Heath, ASB QR codes were delivered to local businesses to encourage the reporting of ongoing ASB and improve intelligence gathering, we will be monitoring these over the coming weeks. The neighbourhood team participated in an ‘’All Out Day’’ with partner agencies across Kings Heath and Moseley, targeting identified ASB hotspots. This involved joint working with Birmingham City Council ASB officers, Traffic Enforcement Officers and other partner agencies to tackle local concerns and provide a visible presence.High-visibility patrols in Moseley and Kings Heath following recent reports of criminal damage in the area, providing reassurance to the community and gathering CCTV for investigations. Several Police Intelligence Reports submitted relating to suspected drug dealing and associated anti-social behaviour in the Moseley area to support ongoing investigations and neighbourhood policing activity.
