✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅

With the start of the summer holidays commencing, the Trinity Team are keen to make the summer as chilled as possible for everyone. We've started by identifying two individuals who have been identified as being involved in anti-social behaviour within the town centre as well some petty crime. These youths have now been interviewed over a number of different offences and will be referred to the Young Offenders Team to work with them in an attempt to prevent them from committing more crime. Other youths have also been identified for uprooting plants on the Falcon Lodge Estate, with their parents being informed about their behaviour. Since then we've not had any further reports of anti-social behaviour on the Falcon Lodge Estate and seen a reduction of incidents being reported in the Town Centre.

You might of seen an increased police presence in the town over the last week or so. This is nothing to be worried about it's been mainly down to  the team working hard to be more visible and proactive to target keys issues such as anti-social behaviour and thefts. We have also been doing additional patrols whilst the World Cup has been on.

We've also taken advantage of the great weather recently and invited local residents to come along to our first Walkie Talkies in Sutton Park. This is a great opportunity for local residents to engage with their local neighbourhood team and discuss any concerns they have in the local area whilst enjoying the picturesque surroundings of one of Europe's biggest parks. . We were joined by the Councils Street Wardens as well as the Park Rangers. If you wish to join us on our next Walkie Talkies on 13th August '26 at 1100hrs meeting at the Visitors Centre Town Gate. There are plans for this to become a regular thing with more dates being planned for September.

Our local Dedicated Neighbourhood Officers and PCSO are working with security at Good Hope Hospital to increase our patrol and deter any opportunist offenders from committing crime. If you are visiting family or friends at the hospital, please make sure you lock your vehicles and don't leave anything that might tempt would be criminals.
