Burglary - There has been no reports of burglary between Monday 27th July 2026 and Tuesday 4th August 2026.

Theft of motor vehicle – There has been one report of Theft of a motor vehicle between Monday 27th July 2026 and Tuesday 4th August 2026.

On 1st August 2026, unknown offender/s have stolen locked, parked and unattended vehicle on HAZELHURST ROAD.

Theft from a motor vehicle – There has been one report of Theft from a motor vehicle between Monday 27th July 2026 and Tuesday 4th August 2026.  

On 27th July 2026, unknown offender/s have gained access into a locked, parked and unattended vehicle and stolen items on HURST LANE.

Interference with a motor vehicle - There have been no reports of Interference with a motor vehicle between Monday 27th July 2026 and Tuesday 4th August 2026.

1 x arrest for Failed to appear at court for another force

1 x arrest for Breach of court bail conditions in relation to an ongoing and toxic neighbour dispute which resulted in the suspect being issued a Community Protection Warning in custody to address her offending behaviour. 

Vehicle seized for no tax that had been causing problems for local residents in the Smiths Wood area.

Stolen motorbike recovered

 We have welcomed another member to our Castle Bromwich Street Watch Team.  If anyone is interested in taking part in Street Watch or wants further information, please get in touch. 

Following an increase in fires across the borough we have been carrying out foot patrols across Meriden Park and Babbs Mill. 

Part of the Smiths wood team attended a scene in Chelmsley Wood following a house fire 

We have carried out beat Surgeries at Castle Bromwich Gardens and the United Church on Cooks Lane in Kingshurst. 

Today we attended Castle Bromwich Infants School, speaking to the children attending the holiday club. Talking about the Police and our jobs and letting them have a look at a Police Cage Van.
