An update from your local Neighbourhood Police Team.

CRIME 

There has been an attempt burglary of a building in Humberstone Road. The offenders used an unknown implement to break the padlock on the door. Offenders were disturb and made off. 

WHAT’s BEEN HAPPENING

Some of the Sherbourne Police team have been on training courses this week to have an input of how neighbourhood policing will be set up going forward. 

You may already be aware that each ward has a DNO (dedicated neighbourhood officer). This is the officer that you can directly contact for help or advice, for emergency’s it is still 999. To find out who your DNO is head to the West Midlands Police website and put in Sherbourne Neighbourhood Team. Their contact details will also be on there.

ASB

Lots of anti-social behaviour patrols are being conducted across the neighbourhood. If anti-social behaviour is affecting your day to day life or causing issues as a community please report it to us. 

PACT MEETING

Thank you to the residents that attended the PACT community meeting last week. We discussed issues around speeding and E-bikes that cause problems not only in Sherbourne but also in the City Centre. 

Reform councillor, Jackie Gardiner, also attended and gave us some good insight into how the council can support the Police with issues around speeding, parking and anti-social behaviour. 

The Sherbourne Police Team will be organising speed watch’s at locations that were brought to our attention. If you would like to be involved please email us.
