Speed Watch in Wordsley

Officers 30748 and 31520 from the Brierley Hill and Wordsley neighbourhood team attended Balmoral Road, Wordsley on 29-09-26 to conduct a community speed watch with local residents. A number of concerns were raised to me in the most recent police surgery held at Wordsley library, about speeding on Balmoral Road. I was informed that this behaviour occurs on a daily basis and is its most busiest from the hours of 5pm.

I am happy to share with you that in the time we were there from 5pm on 29-09 only a few drivers will be further educated about their speeds by means of a letter in the post. All other drivers were compliant with the speed limit. We will however continue to be pro active in the Balmoral Road area to focus on speeding with other speed operations being planned.
