Silhill Crime Update

Good Afternoon,

Here is your WMnow update for what has been going on in the Silhill area since our last message and what the team has been up to.

Crime Update:

There was a Theft Of Motor Vehicle on Manor Road between 1800hrs 18/10/26 - 1000 19/10/26 whereby offenders have stolen a Red Toyota Yaris which was parked on the driveway.

There was a Theft Of Motor Vehicle on Seven Star Road which happened at 1030hrs 22/10/26 whereby the offender stole an Orange Ford Transit van which still had the keys in the ignition.

Good News:

The team took part in Operation Advance in Solihull this past week. Joining a range of specialist teams and local officers in a crackdown on everything from anti-social behaviour to trading standards. Our team joined an enforcement warrant on two business believed to be selling illegal goods in the local area. Afterwards are team were on proactive patrols in our area responding to the most recent intelligence provided to us by residents and dealing with incoming incidents.

Some great proactive work this past week and weekend with three stolen cars recovered and two suspects in cuffs following a foot chase. Officers were on patrol when we came across the vehicles with the suspects inside. With the help of our response team colleagues, we were able to get hands on with the suspected car thieves. The investigation is underway with multiple lines of ongoing enquires to allow us to make follow up arrests and charge the suspects. A further vehicle was seized which was used in crime, and this is now off the road and out of the hands of criminals.

I hope that you all have a lovely week.

🙂
